The result of a rigorous and functional design, this 1950s sideboard is a fine example of the modernist movement that drives midcentury furniture. A highboard with geometric and elementary shapes, the piece consists of two drawers and three drawers, all supported by an elegant white square tubular base. This beautiful mid-century piece also offers ample storage capacity and a beautiful practical feel with its sliding shelves.

The sideboard is in beautiful condition and fully functional. The drawer unit is made of gilded wood veneer, the base is made of white metal. It shows signs of oxidation. Scratches, small stains, and small losses to the veneer are visible in the photo. This high sideboard is typical of modernist design. Its layout is also very practical: three drawers, one drawer unit with shelves, and a dresser/linen section with sliding shelves. The keys and locks are original and functional.
