The chair was designed in 1944 as a christening gift for the son (Peter) of his friend and fellow designer Borge Mogensen. Designed as a life-size three dimensional puzzle, the kids chair is easily assembled without then use of tools.
The chairs are made of solid oak wood.
Nowadays the chairs are still in production by Carl Hansen, but these are the original vintage ones, that are hard to find.
These lovely chairs are in good original condition with some patina, due to time and usage.
