The quality is fantastic, this is beautifully designed with a compact and very practical design. There is a good size work space when the writing flap is pulled down, there is also lots of storage space in the lower drawers. This has lovely brass handles, it sits on bracket feet and has a serpentine shaped front.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
