This hand-made piece, was crafted in the Perigord. It is made of wood and features one, long; seating section; resting on four, wooden legs, which are attached to the seat, with an ancient joint system, typical of the period.
Piece is in good, original and vintage condition, with some marks and signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time, as well as patina of time on the overall structure, seat, legs and feet (see photos.)
Old marks and signs of woodworm on the overall structure (see photos), so the piece has been fully treated, then coated with linseed oil and waxed for optimum protection, as well as to both nourish and protect the wood.
