Two-drawer chest of drawers standing on tall, tapered legs. The absence of a third drawer and the resulting open space at the bottom lend the chest of drawers its lightness and elegance.
The elaborate marquetry is impressive. We see geometric, intertwined bands of slightly green-colored wood on backgrounds with diagonal grain patterns.
The ormolu fittings, i.e., fire-gilded bronze, are original and authentic.

The top plate of red and white veined marble follows the shape of the body of the furniture, which protrudes in the middle like a risalit.

Condition:
Refurbished condition with a shellac hand polish.
